We all run into allergies, congestion and other respiratory hindrances over the course of the calendar year. Whether we’re breathing in toxins, pollen or other forms of pollution, there is no shortage of airborne illness in society. In an attempt to combat that, Inspire Health & Wellness Spa in West Fargo offers halotherapy (also known as salt therapy) inside their state of the art salt cave.

But what does it do for you and how does it lead you to your best life? We found out.

What Does It Do?

Halotherapy is beneficial in combatting airborne illnesses a person may have while also providing a relaxing environment to heal your body. It is proven that salt therapy will help make breathing easier while shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, congestion and skin irritation will gradually be alleviated.

How Does It Work?

At Inspire Health & Wellness Spa, they rely on what is called a Halogenerator. The generator intakes salt and heats it up before it is pumped into the salt cave. Doing this evaporates any amount of moisture in the cave and ensures that clients are inhaling salt particles in their peak form.

These particles go deep into parts of your lungs which will help break down toxins found in the respiratory system. The salt particles that are not inhaled will fall onto your skin, which has been shown to help those dealing with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or acne.

Each salt cave session at Inspire Health & Wellness Spa is 45 minutes and is the equivalent of spending three days at a saltwater beach.

How Does It Pamper?

Devices are not allowed inside the salt cave. This ensures everyone experiencing the positive impact of the cave is relaxed and not distracted. Using the salt cave will ensure a new step in your wellness journey and clear your body of toxins from the inside out. There is nothing more pampering than leaving the salt cave feeling great and ready to attack what’s next.

Inspire Health & Wellness Spa also offers yoga courses inside the salt cave. The deep breathing experienced in yoga allows you to enjoy the benefits of salt therapy even more. The relaxing nature of the salt cave provides very clean and calm energy for yoga practitioners as well.
