What are your 3 favorite songs right now?

  1. Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Ottis Redding – It is my go-to happy song
  2. Let’s Stay Together by Al Green – His voice is smooth like butter and I love the 70’s vibe along with the lyrics.
  3. We are the World – It is a great reminder especially during these times we need to take care of each other to make things better for the younger generation plus the amount of talent on that track is unreal.

When I clean or am working on a big project.

  1. The Bodyguard Sountrack – Whitney kills it in this album and I love singing the songs in my car (when I am by myself of course).
  2. The Rent Soundtrack – I am a musical nerd, I love the meaning of acceptance of coming together no matter who you are and what your background is.
  3. 21 by Adele – This album was my go-to during a tough time and her voice is ridiculous.

When is your favorite time to listen to music?

One of my favorite times to listen to music is on weekend mornings with a nice hot cup of coffee.

What are your 3 favorite songs right now?

In no particular order, some of my favorites are:

  1. HOLIDAY by Turnstile – Honestly, just a banger.
  2. Happiness in Self Destruction by The Plot In You – An incredibly honest and heartfelt reflection of the artist’s adolescence painted in a bitter-sweet light. I think there is a lot most people can relate to at least a little bit in the lyrical content of the song, coxing the listener to look back on some of their own less than commendable actions, that maybe they couldn’t help but enjoy.
  3. Parasite Eve by Bring Me The Horizon – Lots of cool production on the vocals and instrumental. Things break away a little from a standard song structure, but doesn’t stray too far to where it would hinder the flow or momentum of the song.

What are your 3 favorite songs right now?

In no particular order, some of my favorites are:

  1. Feel Something by Movements – One of the most emotional and sonically cohesive albums I’ve probably ever heard. Every track feels like it belongs without them blending together or getting boring. Especially for a band’s first album, the level of polish on the songwriting is just incredible.
  2. What You Don’t See by The Story So Far – Super nostalgicalbum for me that still holds up with zero skips after nearly a decade.
  3. Stoney by Post Malone – A lot of the tracks on this album bring me right back to having good times with good company while blasting it on repeat.

What is your favorite way to listen to music?

I love listing to music through a good quality pair of headphones or speakers with the volume cranked to get the most detail possible out of each song.

What are your 3 favorite albums of all time?

  1. Brand New Man by Brooks & Dunn – This was one of the first Cassette Tapes (yes I am old) I ever bought. I grew up on a farm and my dad constantly had either Ag Radio on or Country, so Country has been my favorite since and I have always liked Brooks & Dunn.
  2. No Fences by Garth Brooks – Same as Brooks & Dunn except my Dad had the CD for this Album so I listened to it plenty at home. Eventually hit Record and Play at the same time to record it myself on a Cassette Tape (again…old).
  3. Thriller by Michael Jackson – My Dad had this as a CD so I listened to it growing up. Needless to say, it may be on Millions of people’s “best albums of all time” lists. Bonus 4. Back in Black by AC/DC – It’s a Classic. I love sports and basically listened to AC/DC my entire childhood and still do today. I can listen to this album and once I am done believe I can run a marathon… then I try and remember I still can’t… but it pumped me up at least!

What are your 3 favorite songs right now?

  1. The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson – I am not sure if this is “right now” but it is one of my favorite songs of all time. Whenever I hear it, I like to think I can sing and dance like Michael Jackson… basically it allows me to forget about life for about five minutes.
  2. Hell of a View by Eric Church – It reminds me that no matter who people think you are, you are as good of a person as you want to be, regardless of what people think. Live life like you have nothing to lose, and if you can, find someone to be by your side through life!!
  3. You Shook Me All Night Long by ACDC – This is my go to song when I am looking to get motivated and pumped up. Always has been as long as I can remember.

What are your 3 favorite songs right now?

  1. Never Love You Again by Cheat Codes (with Little Big Town & Bryn Christopher – I love the energy it has, the layered vocals, and the songwriting is brilliant. As a producer who loves EDM, this song has everything you could ever want in a song.
  1. By You Side (Feat. Tom Grennan) [Acoustic] by Calvin Harris – I’ve been a big CH fan since “Feel So Close” came out 10 years ago in 2011, and this song reminds me of the classic Calvin Harris from the 2010s. I love the guitar rhythmic vibe, and Tom’s vocals give me chills.
  2. Not Dead Yet by Lord Huron – Lord Huron is my favorite band, especially for all of my favorite outdoor photography adventures, and the Beach-Boys-meet-ElvisPresley vibes of this song has me putting it on repeat again and again.

When is your favorite time to listen to music?

When I am feeling creative, especially late at night while editing photos, or designing. I also grew up listening to music while my family and I would cook meals together. I have a lot of really special memories attached to listening to music with family.

What are your 3 favorite albums of all time and why?

  1. Strange Trails by Lord Huron – Wow–this album is an ethereal experience. It’s like stepping into a portal, filled with ghosts, pine trees, love and heartbreak. One of the songs, “Frozen Pines” inspired the name for my photography name. I can’t say enough about this album, it always fills me with adventure and wonder. Leader and songwriter Ben Schneider writes and creates fictional storylines, characters and a whole world in each album and every other album by Lord Huron ties characters and worlds together. It blows me away.
  2. Stories by Avicii – Avicii (Tim Bergling) was a huge inspiration to me, and is one of the main reasons I pursued EDM in the first place. All singles, EP’s, and albums are phenomenal, but Stories has one of my favorites, “The Days”. Avicii never fails to inspire my creativity and put me in a good mood.
  3. We Are Young & Free (Live) by Hillsong Young & Free – This was Hillsong Y&F’s debut album, and many of the songs were played at church youth events and camps when I was in high school, and I have so many amazing memories attached to the songs on this album–from making lifelong friends, to playing with the worship team at church. Eight years later and so many timeless classics come from that album that I still enjoy today.

What are your 3 favorite songs right now and why?

  1. Sunflower by Rex Orange County – My husband and I don’t share the same music taste, but for some reason, we love this song and we probably sang this every morning during spring-summer.
  2. Hunnybee by Unknown Mortal Orchestra – This song puts me in good spirits, especially in the mornings.
  3. Sunshine by Flight Facilities & Reggie Watts – No reason needed. The bass line is chef’s kiss

What is your favorite way to listen to music?

All the way up without being interrupted.

When is your favorite time to listen to music?

While I’m designing, cooking, or drawing.

What are your 3 favorite albums of all time and why?

Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Probably…

  1. Música De Fondo by Zoé – It’s an MTV Unplugged concert, very different from what Zoé normally does but it’s so far my favorite album from them.
  2. A Kind of Magic by Queen – This one hits home. Queen has been present my whole life. My dad used to put me to sleep while singing to Queen’s songs. I also have a lot of memories of my dad and me singing their songs inthe car. Good times!
  3. I Don’t Want to Grow Up by Descendents – They’ve been my favorite band for years so it’s really hard for me to pick just one. But this one has most of my favorite songs.

What are your 3 favorite songs right now and why?

  1. 25 & Wastin’ Time by Vincent Neal Emerson – This is a song that makes you tap your
foot when it plays. I love playing this one when I don’t feel like doing anything.
  2. Light My Love by Greta Van Fleet – GVF is awesome because they’re a new age rock band that sounds like an old school band–I love this one because of the vocals and heavy drums, there’s no better song to roll down the windows and drive fast on the interstate to.
  3. September by Earth, Wind and Fire – There is no song that creates the vibes this song does–I dance every time it comes on.

When is your favorite time to listen to music?

After work with my fiancee while we cook dinner.

What are your 3 favorite albums of all time and why?

  1. At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash – My grandpa played this all the time when I was a kid–it makes me feel nostalgic and makes me miss him. Johnny Cash is my favorite artist and hearing the prisoners cheer when he plays is just incredible. I can listen to this one from front to back.
  2. SOUND & FURY by Sturgill Simpson – I love all of Sturgill but this one is a roller coaster ride. It’s more of a rock album than country, but it’s Sturgill and he can do whatever he wants. It’s awesome.
  3. Good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar – Kendrick is the king of storytelling in rap and this was his masterpiece. I played this one on a loop when I was walking to class in college and I’ll be playing it until I can’t listen to it anymore. There are zero skips on the entire album.
