Map Your Summer Fun Out Like A Pro!

Downtown Fargo is a hub of activity, diversity and culture with something going on every day of the week. Whether you’re a local, new in town or just cruising through, here are a few great downtown events to keep in mind for this summer.

Cars and Coffee
Sunday, June 9; Sunday, August 11 and Sunday, September 8 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This free event is where passionate supercar owners and enthusiasts gather. Whether you have your own car to showcase or you just enjoy admiring some unique rides, this event is a great time! You can enjoy all kinds of unique cars along with food trucks, coffee and more.

Corks Canvas Downtown
Corks & Canvas, Art & Wine Walk
Thursday, June 13; Thursday, August 8 and Thursday, September 12 from 5-9 p.m.
This casual experience will take guests on a self-guided wine tour in Downtown Fargo with 20+ stops to sample, sip and stroll along the way. Each participating business will feature an artist showcasing their talent paired with wine samples and information from Bernie’s Wines & Liquors. Attendees must be 21 or older to participate. Tickets are $20 per event and can be purchased online at downtownfargo.com.

Downtown Fargo Street Fair
Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This is the perfect event to spend some time in the heart of Fargo, exploring the unique local growing retail, restaurants, entertainment district and more than 250 vendor booths from all over the country. Mark your calendar! This is the perfect time for visitors and residents to sample a wide variety of food and beer from local breweries, all while shopping for original art pieces and crafts from scores of artists, creators and local shops.

Fair-goers will find dozens of performances, live music, a scavenger hunt and interactive experiences mixed with food and beverage that span across over seven blocks of Downtown Fargo. An abundance of food choices helps feed upwards of 120,000 people who are anticipated to attend and enjoy this FREE 3-day event.

TEDxFargo 
Thursday, July 25
Each year, TEDxFargo brings thousands of people together in the Fargo Civic Center to watch TED Talks from local, national and international speakers. This event also includes many local, self-organized events that bring people together to share TED-like experiences.

Island Park Show
Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25 from 10-5 p.m.
Unwind while you explore 125 different booths, featuring makers of fine arts and crafts. Shop at the 100+ juried arts and original craft booths for items like handmade baskets, pottery, original photos of rural North Dakota, decorative wood items, clothing and much

Bridge Bash

Thursday, September 5 from 6-10 p.m.
Welcome back, college students! Come on out for a great kick-off to the new school
year! Rock out to live music, eat food truck cuisine and meet businesses and people from the community. This event is free, family-friendly and creatively placed on the Main Avenue Bridge.

There are a wide variety of great Summer events and activities for kids, families, college kids and adults, guaranteeing a great time in Downtown Fargo. Come experience it for yourself!
