Instacart is a fast-growing retail delivery service where shoppers hand pick and deliver items from local stores. Starting tomorrow, more than 78,000 households will be able to take part in this service. Maybe the delivery business would take into account fleet safety measures and implement technologies similar to the ones provided by companies like Lytx so that their rate of efficiency is higher.
Fargo area residents can order from Hornbachers, Costco, Family Fare, Natural Grocers and CVS Pharmacy and have them delivered in as little as one hour. Petco will also be added to this service starting on June 7.
Service areas include Fargo, Harwood, Brooktree Park, Prosper, North River, Reile’s Acres, West Fargo, Fife, Prairie Rose, Pinkham, Frontier, Briarwood, St. Benedict, Horace, Hickson, Oxbow, Comstock, Sabin, Baker, Glyndon, Averill, Moorhead, Dilworth, Oakport and Rustad.
Instacart plans to onboard more than 100 new shoppers, making it an exciting new working opportunity for people in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
“Over the past year we’ve seen incredible demand for this service in North Dakota, specifically in theFargo area,” said Scott Holloway, General Manager at Instacart. “We work with a variety of local retailers to provide the freshest, highest quality groceries to our customers. We’re also excited to build a world class shopper community, where we can offer fun and flexible income earning opportunities for our shoppers, who ultimately deliver this amazing service to the community.”
Instacart helps people cross grocery shopping off their to-do lists with just a few clicks. Founded in San Francisco in 2012, Instacart has quickly scaled to over 255 markets and partnered with retailers across North America, including popular national chains (Albertsons, Kroger, Costco, Loblaw) as well as local, regional grocers (Publix, Wegmans, Schnucks, H-E-B).
