Dakota Supply Group (DSG) is a people-centric, customer-obsessed and growth-focused wholesale distributor. With over 130,000 (and growing!) products, not only is DSG one of the most diversified suppliers in the upper Midwest, they also have expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, waterworks, utility, communications and more! DSG has 52 locations across the Midwest and is nearing 1,000 employee-owners.

2. What are you working on next for your company culture?
We are continuing to look for progressive ways to support our people-centric culture. Two items currently in the works are a paid Military Leave and a Values-driven recognition program. Our country is great because of the brave men and women who have served in the name of freedom. A paid Military Leave Program is a small token of gratitude for the impact and sacrifice they make.
DSG recently rolled out new values. Our values help shape our behaviors and thus our culture. In 2023, we will be rolling out a peer recognition program that recognizes our employee-owners who go above and beyond and reflect our values of Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork, Respect and Excellence.
3. What are you looking for in employees?
The great thing about DSG is that you don’t need a four-year degree or specific licensure to build a thriving career here!
