What?

The Community Art Experience is an event centered around families and kids coming together to create their own art with the guidance of local artists and businesses. This event will feature live performances, hands-on art activities, live music and concessions. At the end of the event, attendees, are given a goodie bag to take all of their art home.

Last year’s event featured 10 interactive art booths, a graffiti wall and three live performances. An estimated 500 children and their families attended last year’s event.

“We are expecting this year’s Community Art Experience to draw an even larger crowd,” said EPIC Events Art Coordinator Edwin Degges.

Why?

EPIC Companies is a huge supporter of art in the area. Their President, Todd Berning, had a strong connection to the arts ever since his mother, a schoolteacher, introduced him at a young age, he has felt the connection ever since.

Walk through any of their buildings and you’ll find plenty of local art lining the hallways. They’ve even commissioned a number of larger projects at some of their properties including murals, sculptures and more!

Looking to have your child contribute to the ‘Epic’ art scene?
