Welcome to Fargo-Moorhead! Whether you’ve lived in this area for a few hours or several decades, meet new and current residents, learn more about the community and have some fun at the next FM Welcome Party.

The Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp. hosts FM Welcome Parties twice a year (May and November) to help connect people who live in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The parties are all about meeting new people and learning more about what makes our community so great.

The FM Welcome Parties are hosted by volunteers who have moved to Fargo-Moorhead and can share their experiences in settling down and getting acquainted with the area.

If you want to learn new ways to get involved in the community, find a connection for a new job, discover any upcoming events and anything in between, this is the perfect event for you!

The parties feature food, family-friendly activities, engaging hosts, great conversation and friendly people. A cash bar is available for those who are 21+. Check out some of the best entertainment from residents, including musical performances, dances and more.

There’s also a map where people can add a pushpin wherever they’re from, which makes for a great conversation starter! See how people from all over have come to call Fargo-Moorhead home.
