Thursday, Jan. 17

Fargo Moorhead Weekend Forecast: Jan. 17-20, 2019

Free Skin Cancer Screening at Catalyst Medical Center: 4-8 p.m.

Head to Catalyst tonight from 4 to 8 pm for your free full body skin check! Your skin is your largest organ, take good care of it. Early detection is key to beating skin cancer.

Fargo Moorhead Weekend Forecast: Jan. 17-20, 2019

Classic Film Series: Psycho at Fargo Theatre: 7:30-9:30 p.m.

The Fargo Theatre‘s January Classic Film is Alfred Hitchcock’s PSYCHO. Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh star in this classic thriller – tickets are just $5!

Before the movie starts, head over to Rosey’s Bistro for their happy hour specials from 3-6 p.m., which include $2 off all drinks.

Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown at Fargo Theatre: 7-11 p.m.

For decades, the battle has raged: Beatles or Stones? Through their heyday, fans accused London’s Rolling Stones of stealing ideas—even entire albums—from their Liverpool counterparts. At the same time, the Beatles secretly envied the Stones’ “bad boy” image and attitude, often copying their style. Both bands are unmistakably great, scoring an array of hits that changed musical history, but only one can be the best. Don’t miss this show at the Fargo Theatre!

Fargo Famous Talent Show at Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre: 7-9 p.m.

Show off your talents or cheer on your neighbors at FMCT’s second annual Fargo Famous Talent Show! This all-ages community talent show will highlight the incredible talent in the Fargo-Moorhead area while encouraging ongoing community support for the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre.

After you take in all that talent, head to Rhombus Guys for delicious food and a late night happy hour from 10 p.m. to close.

Saturday, Jan. 19

22nd Annual Celebration Of Women And Their Music at The Stage at Island Park: 6-9 p.m.

The Celebration of Women and their Music was founded in 1998 by Deb Jenkins, Fargo, renowned blues singer, chef, and caterer. Each year brings newcomers to the stage as well as returning favorites from previous years in a celebration of the talent and artistic camaraderie of women in the Fargo-Moorhead region. Don’t miss the 22nd annual event at The Stage at Island Park!

The Little Mermaid at NDSU Festival Concert Hall: 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Dive right into the classic story of “The Little Mermaid” while exploring all the many wonderful genres of dance. This event at the NDSU Festival Concert Hall brought to you by ND Academy of Dance is sure to be a favorite of both young and old, with an experience that will last a lifetime.

Afterwards or between performances, check out the specials at Herd and Horns, which include $3 mimosas, $4 Bison bombs and $5.50 green tea cocktails

Sunday, Jan. 20

NDSU Women’s Basketball vs. North Dakota at the SHAC: 2-5 p.m.

Come support the NDSU Women’s Basketball team when they face off against North Dakota. It’s Thundar’s birthday, which only means one thing…party!! All kids 12 and under are invited to celebrate our one and only mascot with pizza, cake, balloon animals, and more! Party starts at 12pm in the Taylor Family VIP Room locates in the south lobby of the SHAC.

Elimination Mansion: Drink ‘n Learn at Brewhalla: 4-5 p.m.

Elimination Mansion is an experience modeled on reality shows like Survivor and Big Brother. Learn why Season 1 players said “I can’t wait to play again next year!” We will be answering questions, We’ve got a couple surprises, and you’ll be the first to get access to applications!
