Get out and play... and read. Join us for this new event that brings the love of reading to a local park. During this interactive evening at North Elmwood Park, participants will read books, create crafts, meet a local author and so much more. West Fargo Public Library will even have books on site for families to check out and take home. Thank you to the West Fargo Library and the Creative Plains Foundation for sponsoring this event.

Extreme juggler and comedian Mad Chad is this night's entertainment. He's a chainsaw juggling, finger lighting, anvil catching, wild man. It's extreme entertainment tailored for all audiences. Series with Gary runs through Sunday, June 10.

Yoga In The Park

Wednesday, June 13 at 6 p.m.
The annual 'Yoga in the Park' is a series of FOGA events hosted by the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties, Fargo Park District and Courts Plus. FOGA (Fargo Organization Giving through Asana) is a movement to create unity, bring awareness, and raise dollars for local causes in the F-M-WF community by hosting donation-based yoga glasses.

Island Park will be filled with music, laughter, and bright colors as children play and learn. All activities are free. The fest hosts 30 interactive educational booths, many carnival games, an entertainment stage, petting zoo, inflatables, and strolling entertainment.

The North Dakota Brewers Guild's annual event, Under Brew Skies, will be held at the beautiful Island Park in Downtown Fargo on Saturday, June 16 from 2 - 6 p.m. The festival will feature more than 60 independent craft beers, food trucks, and live music.

For the fifth year, the Burgers, Brews & BBQ Festival is back to entertain and feed Fargo-Moorhead. In one of the most unique venues in town, the Moorhead Center Mall Parking Ramp will be transformed into a rocking setting for a night of food, brews and music. Through an exciting partnership between Jade Presents and Spotlight Media, this year, festival participants will get: Unlimited burger sliders and BBQ samples from upwards of 20 restaurants, beer samples from local and regional breweries and an evening filled with live music.

It is hard to believe that at 36 years old, Jonny Lang has already had a successful career for two decades. What began as a bluesy sound influenced by electric pioneers like Albert Collins, B.B. King and Buddy Guy, evolved over those recordings into a modern R&B style closer to Stevie Wonder and contemporary gospel music. Lang's distinctive blues-inflected licks appeared on every album but became one element in a sea of passionately sung and tightly arranged songs.
