WANT TO HANG OUT WITH YOUR FAMILY?

Indoor Doggie Meet-up

Thursday, Jan. 24: Indoor Doggie Meet Up from 7-8 p.m. at Downtown Dogs Fargo-Moorhead

This event will be indoors, free and fun for the whole family! Hang out with dogs and socialize with other dog owners.

Jeff Dunham

Friday, Jan. 25: Jeff Dunham from 7-10 p.m. at Scheels Arena

Comedian Jeff Dunham is on his “Passively Aggressive” tour that will stop in Fargo Friday night. See your favorite characters like Peanut, Walter, Jose Jalapeno, Bubba J and more, as well as a few new faces! Tickets are $52.50.

Frostival

Friday-Saturday, Jan. 25-26: Frostival

Get outside for two days of free competitive events, live music, family fun and more throughout Fargo-Moorhead. Winter is cool in more ways than one! Check them out for a full listing of this weekend’s activities.

Laserfest

Friday-Sunday, Jan. 25-27: Laserfest at MSUM Planetarium

Enjoy some pulsing beats, incredible imagery and dazzling laser light effects with music from five decades. Note: this event isn’t recommended for very young children. Tickets range from $5-$8.

NDSU Championship Meet & Greet

Sunday, Jan. 27: Championship Meet & Greet from noon to 3 p.m. at Scheels

Get your picture taken with the National Championship trophies for free and meet the new Bison coaching staff. The best selection of National Championship merchandise will be available for purchase as well.


WANT TO CHECK OUT SOME LIVE PERFORMANCES?

A Journey Through Jazz

Thursday, Jan. 24: A Journey Through Jazz from 7:30-9 p.m.

Don’t miss an entertaining, historically accurate and educational romp through jazz history by the Kicks Band of Fargo-Moorhead and Moorhead High School. Tickets are $10, and kids 17 years old and younger get in for free.

Nivrana

Friday, Jan. 25: Nivrana from 9 p.m. to midnight: TAK Music Venue

Nivrana will pay tribute to the legendary Nirvana at their debut at TAK. Tickets for this all-ages show are $15 in advance or $17 the day of the show.

Mythical Heroes & Women Warriors

Saturday, Jan. 26: Mythical Heroes & Women Warriors Symphony Concert from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at NDSU Festival Concert Hall

Get ready for a symphonic adventure with projected images above the orchestra! Enjoy music from The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and the exploits of legendary heroes. Tickets range from $30-$50.

Free flux pop up class

Thursday, Jan. 24: Free Flux Pop Up from 4-5 p.m. at Prairie Den

Flux partnered up with Prairie Den to host a free Flux popup class. Flux classes combine yoga, strength and conditioning for an unexpected and refreshing workout. Bring a yoga mat, and grab a free ticket before they’re gone!

Pound & A Pint

Friday, Jan. 25: Pound & A Pint from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Fargo Brewing Company

Get in a great workout and then enjoy a pint of delicious beer or soft drink! This event is for all fitness levels for only $15! Bring a yoga mat or a blanket/quilt for your drum kit, as well as a water bottle and towel.

Snowga

Saturday, Jan. 26: Frostival – Snowga from 11 a.m. to noon at Viking Ship Park

Snow + yoga = snowga! Practice your downward dog and lotus pose at this free wintry yoga event.

B-B-BRRR Winter Classic

Sunday, Jan. 27: B-B-BRRR Winter Classic from 1:30-4 p.m. at Wildflower Grove Park

The ninth annual B-B-BRRR Winter Classic 10K will begin in Wildflower Grove Park, just south of Oak Grove Park. Riders of all abilities can participate in this free event!

Sunday, Jan. 27: Paint Your Pet from noon to 3 p.m. at Creatively Uncorked

Have a custom painting of your own pet, painted by you. Creatively Uncorked has artists that will help you and answer any questions, but this is all about you! Tickets are $65 for this unique event.

4:01 Happy Hour

Thursday, Jan. 24: 4:01 Social Event from 4:01-7 p.m. at Drekker Brewing Company

The American Advertising Federation of North Dakota and Onsharp partnered together to host the first 2019 4:01 social event tonight! The first 75 attendees will receive one free beer ticket, and everyone can enjoy sandwiches, veggies, chips and bottled water throughout the event.

The Seven Human Rights Experience

Thursday, Jan. 24: The Seven Human Rights Experience from 6:30-9 p.m. at NDSU Memorial Union

The Seven is an interactive human rights experience that empowers people to discuss and learn what it means to organize, advocate for and influence positive change in their community. Check out this free event that includes a screening of Kianoush Abdei’s “Alphabet,” an excerpt from Theatre NDSU’s “Liminal: A (re-imagined) folktale” a presentation from Alexandre Cyusa on “My 7 Favorite Universal Languages” and more!

CreativeMornings

Friday, Jan. 25: CreativeMornings from 8-10 a.m. at Drekker Brewing Company Brewhalla

It’s time for the first CreativeMornings of 2019! This month’s theme is Surreal, and registration is free. Today we recognize a sense of the surreal in unexpected moments in daily life. Hear from Anna Lee, a Minnesota-based artist and designer with a heart for community and a mind for industry development for independent fashion and the arts.
