On May 26th from 12-1 p.m., join visual artist and ceramist Cannupa Hanska Luger at the Plains Art Museum for a Creative Voices Artist Talk. Luger is an artist in residence from May 26 to June 5 at the museum. He was born on the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota and has Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara and Lakota heritage, as well as Austrian and Norwegian. He has a BFA in studio ceramics from the Institute of American Indian Arts. His pieces have been featured in several public collections and international exhibitions. He will also be teaching two week-long workshops at the museum.
