Readings and conversations with finalist for Fiction, Rachel Kushner, and finalist for Non-Fiction, Wendy Lower. Kushner’s novel, Flamethrowers, explores the life a young women in the 1970s New York art scene while Lower’s book takes a hard look at the role of women in the killing fields of Nazi Germany.
