Event Details

The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber announced that Minnesota Lt. Governor Tina Smith will be joining State Senator Kent Ekenand Representative Ben Lien at an Eggs & Issues  event on Wednesday, February 3.

As the state of Minnesota starts its legislative session on March 8, there will be many decisions to be made. With close to a $2 billion surplus, legislators and government officials have big ideas for how that could be used.

“We are excited that, to add to the hometown flavor of the two of our three local legislators, the Lt. Governor has agreed to appear,” said Craig Whitney, Chamber President and CEO. “We believe that the Lt. Governor will help add a statewide perspective to this event.”

The February Eggs & Issues takes place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead. All media is invited to attend. The cost for attendees is $25 in advance or $30 at the door for Chamber members, or$35 in advance or $40 at the door for non-members. Presenting sponsors are Sanford Health and Xcel Energy.
