The international Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, takes place on December 4, 1956, when a twist of fate brought musical greats Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips,  known as one of the “fathers of rock and roll,” gathered the four legendary musicians at Sun Records in Memphis, Tenn., for an evening that resulted in one of the greatest rock and roll jam sessions in history.
