Fargo production company Prairie Airwaves (Fargo DylanFest, Dakota Air) has announced  that “Black is Back: A Tribute to Johnny Cash” will premier in Fargo, ND, at the historic Fargo Theatre on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 7 p.m.

The show will feature a diverse line-up of popular regional performers including  the Pat Lenertz Band, Boots, Diane Miller, and Merrill Piepkorn & The Radio Stars, as well as the legendary Sherwin Linton, whose live album “Hello, I’m Not Johnny Cash” led to Country Music Association and Music City News nominations in 1972.

Other performers include Darrin Wentz, Amanda Standalone, Mike Holtz & Loy Larson, Ska-Skank Redemption, Danny Elvis Wagner, Marcus “XXL” Hanson, NDSU Bison Arts Group, Jake Schaefbauer & Dustin Ellingson, Dennis Keblar, Joe Reinke, and Tucker’d Out.

Advance tickets are $10 and $20 general reserved, and $40 for VIP tickets that include premium seating and a keepsake. Tickets can be purchased online at Tickets300.com, by phone at (866) 300-8300, or in person at 300 Broadway, Fargo (MondayFriday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.). Ticketing fees apply to all sales. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
