People who live in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo will have new opportunities to enjoy winter, come January, during the inaugural North of Normal Frostival set for Jan. 29-31, 2016.

Registration opens Nov. 16 for competitions included in the Frostival. The outdoor event features three days of quirky activities that encourage people of all ages to get outside and play during the dead of winter.

When: January 29th through the 30th

Where: Downtown Fargo, U.S. Bank Plaza

Why: Developed from a growing need to combat the notion that our town is a frigid tundra in the winter months as well as to attract new residents to the area to fill our many open jobs.
