German Culture Day at the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County is a fun-filled day for the whole family. The event will highlight a variety of performers, craftspeople, food, traditional arts, craft beer and kid’s activities all focusing on German Culture. The day would not be complete without some festive music from Dale Dahmen and the Beats and Kris and the Riverbend Dutchmen. Both groups blend up-tempo beats with traditional styles.

The food will be another highlight. Our own Kelly Wambach has prepared a full German menu, sure to please. Menu items will, of course, include sauerkraut and hearty pork chops, and you can wash it all down with some German brews.

The Fargo Moorhead Convention of Visitors Bureau, the Fargo Howard Johnson, Moorhead Public Service and Moorhead Rotary provide generous support for German Culture Day.

Join us September 19, from 10-5 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center. Admission is $5 for adults and teens, and kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
