- FMVA and Drekker Brewing Company are presenting the FMVA’s annual Constraint Show.
- What is a Constraint Show? The annual Constraint Art Exhibition challenges artists perceptions and encourages them to expand their creative thinking. Each year, an FMVA committee chooses a topic, and the artists produce work that fits their interpretation of that theme.
- On display: October 1-28.
- Opening reception: Wednesday, October 7 – 6 pm-8 pm,
- Location: Drekker Brewing Company: 630 1st Ave N, Suite 6, Fargo, ND 58102
- This year’s theme for the constraint show is “Antiquity”, otherwise thought of as “The Great Age”. This concept includes the great civilizations of antiquity in the ancient past, especially the period before the Middle Ages.
- FMVA is a volunteer organization of nearly 200 visual artists and art supporters. The group hosts exhibitions, socials, visual talks and critiques to promote and encourage artists and the visual arts in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
