The 12th Annual Fargo-Moorhead Caregiver Conference, ‘Navigating the Caregiver Journey,’ will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center, located at 202 1st Ave. N., Moorhead, Minn.
The conference will feature expert presenters on a variety of caregiving topics. Presentations include “Advance Directives: Are You Traveling Without a Roadmap?” with Michelle Cooley from Hospice of the Red River Valley and “Navigating Technology – Resources for Caregivers” with Jessica Claeys from Lutheran Social Service of MN iPad Project.
The conference will close with “Self Care for Caregivers – A Sample of Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques” with Summer Hanson and Jessica Hentges from the Fargo VA Medical Center – Mental Health.
Area vendors will be onsite during the event, and a light brunch will be served.
