The Brickhouse Taverns: Pizza, Beer And Bulldogs

by on Feb 8, 2016

The newest addition to the newer Azool development in Moorhead is the awesome restaurant and bar, The Brickhouse Taverns. With a wide range of food and beer selections, this family-friendly eatery is a place you have to check out.

We were lucky enough to attend the tavern’s soft opening and get a taste, literally, for what the place is like. Check out what we learned about the place, and tasted, and be sure to stop.

Overall Look

Brickhouse Taverns

The Brickhouse Taverns is just what its name states, an old school brick tavern with a gorgeous 70-foot wood barrail. There are high top and low tables for lots of seating and huge booths for groups who prefer to see what’s going on around them while enjoying time together.

While giving off the old school brick tavern feel, Brickhouse’s theme also features a family of three one-of-a-kind bulldogs: Brewtus, Lil’ Brewser and Brewtini. You can’t miss this lovely family, as they’re featured on just about everything in the tavern.

The Bar

Brickhouse Taverns

As we mentioned before, the tavern’s bar is gorgeous. The entire 70-foot rail is all wood and features 52 taps with 26 different styles of beer, over 40 different bottled beers to select from, 80 plus liquor selections and a 8 by 22-foot beer cooler in the center. If you are into sports, no need to worry, Brickhouse has ample TVs all around the bar and on the outer walls for your viewing. The rail also features awesome seating with the most comfortable bar chairs you will ever sit in. Trust us, we tested them out.

The Menu

Brickhouse Taverns

The tavern’s menu is really something different and something you will have never seen before. The actual menu is made completely of wood, so yes, it is a little heavy, but it’s something you won’t want to take your eyes, or hands, off of. The front of the menu features all of the tavern’s food options, while the back is filled with a little story from Brickhouse’s bulldog family.

The Food

Okay, we know this is probably what you have been waiting to read about, so here you go. Brickhouse’s food is amazing. We were lucky to try a little bit of everything and seriously, you will not be disappointed with anything off of their menu. From appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and pizza, the tavern has it all. Check out what we taste tested, or, should we say, devoured.
