Every month throughout the year, we publish “Five Things to Eat and Drink,” celebrating the delicious dishes and drinks that our area provides. To recap this delicious year, here are 10 tasty features from 2018. We hope this collection will inspire you to get out there and revisit some of these delectable favorites.
1. BBQ Chicken Pizza
True North Bistro is a hidden gem inside of the Four Points by Sheraton by the Sanford Hospital. They partner with Flatland Brewery and use their beer in many of their recipes, like their BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ sauce is made with Flatland’s Simcosis IPA, and it’s topped with charbroiled chicken breast.

This beer is a chocolate milk stout that pours a deep black with rich, tan foam. The addition of lactose sugar adds a silky, smooth body and a bit of sweetness to balance the dark roasted coffee and chocolate flavors.
